Put the verbs in the past simple.
a- Yesteray, my brother (hurt) .............. his leg. He (go) ............... to Hospital.
b- ................. he (hit) ................ you? No, he didn't.
c- I am very angry at Peter because he (not-hold)................ his promise.
Translate the sentences using the verbs in the past simple.
J'ai eu une bonne note (= mark) en anglais. ................................
Il a entendu du bruit (=noise). ..............................
Ils se sont cachés sous le lit. .............................

    Put the verbs in the past simple.

    a- Yesteray, my brother HURT his leg. He WENT to Hospital.

    b- DID he hit you? No, he didn't.

    c- I am very angry at Peter because he DID NOT HOLD his promise.

    Translate the sentences using the verbs in the past simple.

    J'ai eu une bonne note (= mark) en anglais.

    I had a good mark in english

    Il a entendu du bruit (=noise). he heard some noise

    Ils se sont cachés sous le lit.  they hid under the bed

    to hurt hurt hurt verbe irrégulier

    comme to go, went, gone

    ou to heard hear heard

    to hide hid hidden

    la réponse a c’est hit en 1er et went en 2eme,
    la réponse b c’est Did en 2eme c’est hurt,
    la réponse c c’est hold’nt

    Ex 2

    1) I got a good mark in English.

    2) He heard a noise.

    3) They hid under the bed.
